We tried a new Japanese restaurant today. It’s almost never that you get to eat food so delicious without making your wallet commit suicide and apparently, people find it difficult to accept something for what it is when they are proven otherwise. So this restaurant is now rumored to be a front for the Philippine Yakuza for that sole reason. Saisaki is vomit, Sugi is overrated, while Sumo-sam and Omakase are okay. Tsukiji and its ridiculously high prices is probably where the Yakuza eat because they can, while Nihonbashi-Tei is owned by them, also because they can. Try try! It’s along Pasay Road, Makati. Yowza!!!
