where the action is.

I remember my first 2 years of med school when I found any work outside the classroom as a big big hassle. During the last week of clerkship, my class got hit by a firing squad of exams and all I could think of was how much exciting life would be if I was getting a beating in the Wards/ER instead of wasting hours at home just deciding whether to study or not.

“What I did not like about the rotation was that the forms were very long. I am not complaining about the paperwork, but I think that that is the only thing I did not like.” —An entire paragraph from my crappy reaction paper. Normally, this would have been unacceptable for me. But now, I feel the zen of not caring about what people think of my writing. Mmmm inner peace.
